Day 1: Welcome to Lapland
On your arrival at Ivalo airport a driver will wait for you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name on it and will drive you to your accommodation in the middle of authentic Lappish nature. The journey takes about 15 minutes – 1 hour, depending on where your glass cabins are located.

Day 2: Husky Safari, Northern Lights Hunting Tour by Car
Today, you’ll go to a Husky farm to meet some friendly dogs. Huskies love to run and will take you on a fun snow adventure. After a quick safety talk, you’ll glide through Lapland’s snowy fields on a sled pulled by huskies. Relax, snap some great photos, and then spend time cuddling and taking more pictures with the dogs. It’s a special experience at a cozy farm, away from big crowds.
As the sun dips below the horizon, we kick off our Aurora hunting adventure with an evening filled with anticipation. Our expert guides will lead you to prime viewing spots, sharing their knowledge about the science and folklore surrounding the Northern Lights. Settle into our cozy car and traverse through the snow-covered wilderness, keeping your eyes on the darkened sky in the hope of catching the first glimpses of the dancing lights.

Day 3: Home Visit and Local Food Experience, Northern Lights Hunting Tour by Car
Explore the real Lapland with a special visit to a local reindeer herder family. Begin by meeting and feeding the gentle reindeer at their fence, learning about the Sámi people’s traditional way of life and why reindeer herding is important to them. After spending time with the reindeer, head to the family’s cozy home for a friendly welcome. Have a cup of coffee or tea with a slice of homemade berry cake made from local berries. Take a tour of their modern home, ask questions, and learn about their daily life. This unforgettable experience offers a simple yet fascinating look into Arctic living and the unique Sámi culture
Tonight, we are hosting another Northern Lights Hunting tour in the Arctic wilderness. The vast expanse of snow-covered landscapes will provide the perfect backdrop for the ethereal display of the Northern Lights. We will be equipped with hot beverages and snacks. We will find a picturesque location to witness the auroras in all their glory. Don’t forget to bring your camera as you might capture the lights painting the night sky in hues of green, pink, and purple.
Day 4: Snowmobile Safari, Northern Lights Hunting Tour by Car
Experience the thrill of snowmobiling in Northern Finland, a must-try for any short visit! Begin by getting to know the snowmobile, receiving comprehensive safety instructions, and having a driving lesson with our friendly guide. Once everyone feels at ease, embark on a short journey into the nearby surroundings for a delightful adventure. It’s a perfect way to make the most of your time in Northern Finland while enjoying the excitement of snowmobiling in a safe and enjoyable manner.
During our last night, we will travel out again to try to witness the Aurora Borealis. Lapland’s unspoiled nature provides a stunning backdrop for this celestial phenomenon. Our experienced guides, who possess in-depth knowledge of the area, will take you to secret locations that are well-known for their excellent Northern Lights visibility. As you admire the beauty of the Arctic night, you will witness (hopefully) the Aurora’s magnificent finale, an awe-inspiring display that will undoubtedly be the highlight of your three-night adventure.
Day 5: Farewell
Time to say goodbye and end your Northern Lights Getaway. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport for your departing flight.
