Day 1: Welcome to Lapland, Northern Lights Tour
Upon your arrival at Ivalo Airport, a driver will greet you in the arrivals hall with a sign displaying your name and will take you to your accommodation in Inari. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes.
If you arrive early in Inari, take the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings of this small town. You can visit the Siida Museum to learn about Sámi culture, enjoy a leisurely walk along the serene shores of Lake Inari, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere before your Arctic adventure begins. Your adventure starts at our reindeer fence, located just a few kilometers from our home, where you’ll have the chance to feed these majestic animals and learn the responsibilities involved in caring for them. Did you know that there are over 200,000 reindeer in Lapland, and each one is owned by local families? It’s a lifestyle deeply connected to the environment and local traditions.
Afterward, we’ll head to the kitchen to prepare a hearty meal using fresh reindeer meat or fish from Lake Inari, accompanied by locally sourced side dishes and a dessert. Lapland’s cuisine is famous for its simplicity and connection to nature, and this cooking experience will introduce you to these flavors. Day 6: Visit to The Icehotel, Kiruna to Abisko Private Transfer, Northern Lights Tour With Dinner

In 1989, on a cold day, the first Icehotel was hand-carved from massive ice blocks harvested from this very river. Over 30 years later, the Icehotel has evolved into a world-famous Swedish landmark, attracting visitors from around the globe for its unique blend of art, nature, and innovation. A driver will pick you up in your hotel this morning and take you to the Icehotel. Tickets to the Icehotel and the art exhibition of ice and snow are included in the price. After some time there, your driver will take you back to your hotel before you continue your Northern Lights trip to Abisko.
