Valentine's Day Getaway Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Rovaniemi!
On your arrival at the airport a driver will wait for you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name on it and will drive you to your accommodation. The journey takes about 10 minutes.

Day 2: Husky Safari, Northern Lights Photography Tour
Your Valentine’s Day getaway will start with a drive to the Husky park where you get to meet the photogenic dogs. Huskies are born to run, and they are happy to take you on a little safari. After a safety briefing, you can glide through the snowfields of Lapland on a husky-pulled sleigh! Just sit back and snap some excellent photos, perfect souvenirs from your romantic Valentines getaway. After the safari, you can spend some time with the dogs: they love cuddles and photos! This is a premium experience with a visit to an authentic family-sized place, not crowded touristic places.
A lot of people travel to Finland to see Northern Lights and in the evening it’s time for the best Rovaniemi northern lights tour. Remember that the Northern Lights are wily and unpredictable, but this tour will give you the best possible chance to see them. Your professional guide will determine where the highest possible chance for aurora sightings is. You will visit a few different locations unless your guide knows for sure that Northern lights will appear on a certain location, then you’ll go there. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the show. Your guide can also take some romantic photos of you under the northern lights.

Day 3: Reindeer Safari With a Photographer, Romantic Dinner
Today you will do a romantic reindeer sleigh ride through beautiful snowy forest. The tour is guided by a professional photographer, so you will have memorable photos from the visit. We have carefully chosen one of the most traditional reindeer farms where you will meet the reindeer herder family. You will explore everyday life in the farm, get to feed the reindeer and hear some great stories and facts about reindeer herding in Lapland and how it is an integral part of the nature and culture in Northern Finland. You will also do a short reindeer sleigh safari which is perfect addition to your Valentine’s day trip. Herder will also be happy to answer your questions around a warming open fire where freshly made crepes will be served with hot drinks.
In the evening it’s time for a romantic Valentine’s day dinner and what could be better than doing it in a restaurant that is called “Love” in Finnish. Chef and artist Petteri Luoto has created a tasty 6-course menu, which combines art, flavours and colours for you to enjoy. We have included wine pairing to the dinner but please let us know if you don’t wish to have any wine. There’s no better way to finish your Valentine’s day getaway than with a romantic dinner for two.

Day 4: Farewell!
Today it’s time to say goodbye and end your Valentine’s day trip to Lapland. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport for your departing flight.
